MTE aims to provide patients and health workers with information on common medical diagnostic tests and essential pathology tests currently available. It provides answers to common questions that patients and health workers would normally have on blood, stool or urine testing and various computerized procedures such as heart tests (ECG), ultrasound and CT scans, lung test (Spirometry), hearing test (audiometry), pregnancy baby monitor (CTG), x-rays and various general screening tests . Many of these tests are available locally while others are slowly being introduced in PNG.
